So, summer has come and gone. It's bizarre but this summer is the first that meant nothing to me. The only thing that was different was that we had Camp (or iCamp, as some have called it). That's it. No summer vacation, sleeping late, camping, nothing. I think the fact that I was in San Francisco, which doesn't have any summer season of note probably only compounded the feeling.
It's just bizarre.
In good news, gay marriage has passed the California State Assembly (it failed last time it came up, but three Democrats who abstained last time voted this time and the vote got the minimum number of votes). This marked the first time that a state voted gay marriage through, now it's up to Schwarzenegger to sign the bill into law or to veto it. He hasn't made any public statements on it but most people think he's going to veto it. Still, I like that the vote came out (no pun intended).
Oh. And today the iPod Nano came out. And the Harry Potter iPod. Of course they haven't come into our store, but that doesn't keep everyone from asking about them.
